Dupli-Color Automotive Metallic Paint provides a brilliant metallic finish to automotive trim and accessories, such as trim, grills and bumpers. Available in Chrome and Gold, Dupli-Color Automotive Metallic Paint dries quickly to a durable, high gloss finish and are ideal for interior and exterior use.

Directions:

PREP: Prepare the surface by removing all loose paint, dirt, rust, grease, wax, etc. For best results, use a quality grease and wax remover to clean the surface. Scuff the surface with a scuff pad or equivalent. Wipe down the surface again with a grease and wax remover, then let dry. Mask-off surrounding areas to protect from overspray. Use at temperatures between 60°F (16°C) and 95°F (35°C) and when humidity is less than 60%. Do not apply in direct sunlight.
SHAKE: Shake can vigorously for one full minute after mixing ball moves freely. Shake can for 10 seconds after each minute of use.
APPLY: To spray, hold can parallel at 8-10 inches from the surface to be painted and use an even, sweeping motion. To avoid runs and sags apply 2-3 light coats, allowing surface to dry 10 minutes between coats. Dries to the touch in 30 minutes. Can be handled in 1 hour.

Additional Information:

The EZ Touch Nozzle requires 50% less finger fatigue than a standard nozzle and allows for greater coverage and less overspray.
After each use, invert can and spray until clear gas comes out.
If spray button becomes clogged, wear eye protection and wipe off orifice with lacquer thinner. DO NOT stick pins or wire into the can opening. Discard empty can in trash pick-up.
