Dupli-Color Engine Enamel is specifically designed for high-temperature and high-performance engine paint applications. This durable formula is perfect for customizing and protecting various engine components under the hood.

Dupli-Color® Engine Enamel is formulated with Ceramic Resins for maximum heat dissipation and gloss retention, offering protection from excessive heat and automotive fluids. Whether you're into racing, street rods, or vehicle restoration, this enamel will meet the rigorous standards you demand. Its durable formula ensures a superior finish that won’t blister, flake, crack, or peel.

Application Directions:

• Prep: Prepare the surface by removing loose paint, dirt, rust, wax, and grease using a quality grease and wax remover. Scuff sand the surface with a scuff pad for maximum adhesion. Rinse well and dry with a clean, dry cloth. Mask off surrounding areas to protect from overspray. Use at temperatures between 60°F (15°C) and 95°F (35°C) when humidity is less than 60%. Do not apply paint in direct sunlight.
• Shake: Shake the can vigorously for one full minute after the mixing ball moves freely. Shake the can for 10 seconds after each minute of use.
• Apply: Hold the can parallel at 8-10 inches from the surface to be painted and use an even, sweeping motion. Apply 2 light coats followed by 1 medium wet coat. Allow 10 minutes between coats. Apply all coats within 1 hour. If additional coats are needed after 1 hour, wait 7 days for the paint to cure before applying more. The paint dries to the touch in 1 hour and can be handled in 3 hours.

• Efficient Nozzle: The EZ Touch Nozzle requires 50% less finger fatigue than a standard nozzle, allowing for greater coverage and less overspray.
• Maintenance: After each use, invert the can and spray until clear gas comes out. If the spray button becomes clogged, wear eye protection and clean the orifice with lacquer thinner. DO NOT stick pins or wire into the can opening. Discard the empty can in trash pick-up.
