Dupli-Color® Metal Specks Automotive Paint combines old school colour with new school technology to create the next evolution in metal flake paints of the past. Create a unique and custom brilliant-metallic finish with this coating that features tiny floating metallic flake suspended in vibrant paint. Metal Specks is ideal for customizing automotive accessories such as spoilers, mirrors, and moulding.

Directions:

PREP: Prepare the surface by removing loose paint, dirt, rust, wax, and grease using a quality grease and wax remover. Lightly sand the surface with 600-grit sandpaper or equivalent for maximum adhesion. Wipe down the surface again with grease and wax remover, then let dry. Mask-off surrounding areas to protect from over spray. Use at temperatures between 60°F (16°C) and 95°F (35°C) and when humidity is less than 60%. Do not apply in direct sunlight.
SHAKE: Shake can vigorously for one full minute after mixing ball moves freely. Shake can for 10 seconds after each minute of use.
APPLY: To spray, hold can parallel at 8-10 inches from surface to be painted and use in an even, sweeping motion. Apply 2 light coats, followed by one medium wet coat with 10 minutes in between coats. Dries to the touch in 20 minutes. Can be handled in 1 hour. Recoat anytime.

The EZ Touch Nozzle requires 50% less finger fatigue than a standard nozzle and allows for greater coverage and less overspray.
After each use, invert can and spray until clear gas comes out.
If spray button becomes clogged, wear eye protection and wipe off orifice with lacquer thinner. DO NOT stick pins or wire into the can opening. Discard empty can in trash pick-up.
