Dupli-Color Metalcast Paint has been specifically designed to create a transparent-coloured metallic finish to prepared shiny metal, faux and chrome-like surfaces.

Withstands intermittent temperatures up to 500°F (260°C).
Covers approximately 12-14 square feet per can.
One-step metallic/anodized colour effect over chrome & bright metal.

Dupli-Color® Metalcast Anodized Color turns ordinary chrome pieces into a bright, transparent-coloured metallic finish in an easy one-step process. Metalcast is a durable enamel finish that is oil, gas, and heat resistant up to 500°F intermittently, making it ideal for interior, exterior, and high heat applications under the hood. Specially formulated to work over properly prepared shiny, bare metal and faux, chrome-like surfaces.

Directions:

PREP: Clean and degrease chrome or bright metal surfaces with a Dupli-Color prep product. Mask-off any areas to protect from overspray. DO NOT SAND OR SCUFF CHROME SURFACE.
SHAKE: Shake can for one full minute after mixing ball moves freely. Shake can for 10 seconds after each minute of use. Ideal application conditions are when temperatures are between 60°F (15°C) to 85°F (29°C) and when humidity is less than 60%. Do not apply paint in direct sunlight.
APPLY: Hold can 8-10 inches from the surface and apply 4-5 light even coats to not run the paint. Colour will darken with each coat to achieve desired look. Apply all coats within 1 hour, allowing 10 minutes between coats. Additional coats after 1 hour, wait 7 days for paint to cure. Dries to the touch in 1 hour. Can be handled in 3 hours.

The EZ Touch Nozzle requires 50% less finger fatigue than a standard nozzle and allows for greater coverage and less overspray.
After each use, invert can and spray until clear gas comes out.
If spray button becomes clogged, wear eye protection and wipe off orifice with lacquer thinner. DO NOT stick pins or wire into the can opening. Discard empty can in trash pick-up.
Covers approximately 12-14 square feet per can.
