Dupli-Color Case Paint with Ceramic is formulated for high temperature and high-performance to restore motorcycle and ATV engines to their original factory appearance. Our exclusive Ceramic formula increases heat dispersion to maintain and protect engine component surfaces. Withstand intermittent temperatures up to 550°F (288°C). Oil and gas resistant. Ideal for engine blocks, cylinder barrels and manifolds.

Directions:

PREP: Prepare surface by removing loose paint, dirt, rust, grease, wax, etc. For best results use grease and wax remover to clean surface. This can be accomplished by sand blasting or sanding the surface with 320-grit sandpaper or equivalent. Wipe down surface again using grease and wax remover. Mask-Off surrounding areas to protect from overspray. Use at temperatures between 60°F (16°C) and 95°F (35°C) and when humidity is less than 60%.
SHAKE: Shake can vigorously for one full minute after mixing ball moves freely, Shake for 10 seconds after each minute of use.
APPLY: For maximum adhesion and colour consistency we recommend applying Dupli-Color Engine Enamel Primer #DE1612. To spray, hold can parallel and 8-10 inches from the surface to be painted and apply in an even, sweeping motion. To avoid runs and sags, apply 2 light coats, followed by one medium wet coat. Apply all coats within 1 hour, allowing 10 minutes between each coat. For additional coats after 1 hour, wait 7 days for paint to cure. Dries to the touch in 1 hour. Can be handled in 3 hours.

The EZ Touch Nozzle requires 50% less finger fatigue than a standard nozzle and allows for greater coverage and less overspray.
After each use, invert can and spray until clear gas comes out.
If spray button becomes clogged, wear eye protection and wipe off orifice with lacquer thinner. DO NOT stick pins or wire into the can opening. Discard empty can in trash pick-up.
