Dupli-Color® Wheel Coating is perfect for customizing or dressing up worn out wheels. This advanced, track-tested acrylic enamel formula restores original wheel appearance and protects against brake dust, chemicals, cleaning solvents, heat, and chipping. Dupli-Color Wheel Coating features a highly durable finish with superior adhesion to steel, aluminium, and plastic wheels, and wheel coverings.

Directions:

PREP: Prepare the surface by removing loose paint, dirt, rust, grease, wax, etc. Use a grease and wax remover or Dupli-Color Prep Spray PS100 to clean surface. Lightly sand surface with 600-grit sandpaper wet or dry. Wipe surface down again with Dupli-Color Prep Spray PS100. Mask-off surrounding areas to protect from overspray. Use at temperatures between 60°F (16°C) and 95°F (35°C) and when humidity is less than 60%.
SHAKE: Shake can vigorously after mixing ball moves freely and 10 second after each minute of use.
APPLY: If bare metal is exposed, apply Dupli-Color primer first. To spray, hold can parallel and 8-10 inches from surface to be painted and apply in an even, sweeping motion. Apply 3 light coats, followed by one medium wet coat. Apply all coats within 1 hour, allowing 10 minutes between each coat. For additional coats after 1 hour, wait 7 days for paint to cure. Dries to the touch in 30 minutes. Can be handles in 1 hour. Apply Dupli-Color Gloss or Matte Clear Coat for added protection.

The EZ Touch Nozzle requires 50% less finger fatigue than a standard nozzle and allows for greater coverage and less overspray.
After each use, invert can and spray until clear gas comes out.
If spray button becomes clogged, wear eye protection and wipe off orifice with lacquer thinner. DO NOT stick pins or wire into the can opening. Discard empty can in trash pick-up.
