Permatex Muffler & Exhaust Putty 113g
Permanently repairs holes and leaks in exhaust systems. Use for:
- Mufflers
- Exhausts
- Joints
- Catalytic converters
- 113 grams
Made in USA.
Seals out fumes at temperatures up to 2000°F (1000°C). Safe for catalytic converters. 2-pouch bonus pack.
Directions for use:
- Wire brush or sand to remove loose rust and dirt. Repair area must be clean.
- Knead pouches before opening.
- Apply with putty knife, pressing the putty into hole or leak.
- Let car idle for 10 minutes to speed up dry time. If possible, let car stand overnight before driving. DO NOT RACE MOTOR BEFORE PUTTY HARDENS COMPLETELY.
- For larger holes, reinforce repair area with wire screen before applying putty. For a lasting repair, use Permatex Muffler and Exhaust Bandage (Part number 80333) over puttied areas.
