This Threebond 1104-55BP Sealant and Gasket Adhesive is a grey synthetic rubber liquid gasket. It is resistant to fuel, diesel, and LPG, and is resistant to temperatures up to 150 °C.

Applications:

150 °C, sealing transmission case covers, motorcycle cases, timing chain covers, side covers, clutch housing bolts. Use as a gasket on oil seals, rear main oil seals, diesel and hydraulic threads and fittings, 2 stroke engine assembly and head studs.

Directions:

Clean flange surfaces with Threebond Super Cleaner (6602T-480) and wipe clean with Methylated spirits. Ensure a dry, oil free surface.
Apply a 3mm bead to one surface and around bolt holes and areas of the sealing surface.
Assemble flanges straight away.
Tighten to specified torque.
Allow 12 hours for full cure prior to testing the sealing capabilities.
