Covers approximately 12-14 square feet per can.
Chemical resistant & heat resistant up to 900°F (482°C) & will not chip, crack, fade, or rust.
Provides a glossy clear finish to callipers, drums & rotors.

VHT Brake Calliper, Drum and Rotor Paint has been specifically designed for the custom detailing of brake components. It is heat resistant to 900°F (482°C) and will not chip, crack, fade or rust even under extremes of operation or road and weather conditions. It is easy to apply, dried quickly and chemical resistant. Careful preparation is essential, Ideal for callipers, drums, and rotors.

Directions:

PREP: Prepare the surface by removing loose paint, dirt, rust, wax, and grease using a quality grease and wax remover. Lightly sand the surface with 320-grit sandpaper or equivalent for maximum adhesion. Wipe down the surface again with grease and wax remover, then let dry. Mask-off surrounding areas to protect from overspray. Use at temperatures between 60°F (16°C) and 95°F (35°C) and when humidity is less than 60%. Do not apply paint in direct sunlight.
SHAKE: Shake can vigorously for one full minute after mixing ball moves freely. Shake can for 10 seconds after each minute of use.
APPLY: To spray, hold can parallel and 8-10 inches from surface to be painted and use in an even, sweeping motion. To avoid runs and sags, apply in 2 light coats, followed by one medium wet coat. Apply all coats within 1 hour, allowing 10 minutes between each coat. For additional coats after 1 hour, wait 7 days for paint to cure. Dries to the touch in 1 hour. Can be handles in 3 hours.
CURING (IMPORTANT): After paint is completely dry it must be cured to substantially increase the durability of the finish and enhance chemical resistance. Bake at 200°F (93°C) for 1 hour. Do not exceed the heat tolerance of the least heat tolerant part. The inherent heat of brake operation will also accomplish curing. Finish is not chemical resistant until cured.

The EZ Touch Nozzle requires 50% less finger fatigue than a standard nozzle and allows for greater coverage and less overspray.
After each use, invert can and spray until clear gas comes out.
If spray button becomes clogged, wear eye protection and wipe off orifice with lacquer thinner. DO NOT stick pins or wire into the can opening. Discard empty can in trash pick-up.
