VHT Hood, Bumper & Trim Paint is specifically designed restore the factory OEM black finish on your moulding, hood, bumper, and trim work.

Covers approximately 12-14 square feet per can.

Ideal for: metal, aluminium, fiberglass & plastic.

VHT Hood, Bumper & Trim urethane coating is formulated with elastomers that allow for the flexing of paint on pliable surfaces. This unique formula is also well suited for fiberglass, plastic, and other resin-based bodywork. Equally suited for metal, VHT Hood, Bumper & Trim Paint offers excellent hide and mar resistance.

Directions:

PREP: Prepare surface by removing loose paint, dirt, rust, grease, wax, etc. Use grease and wax remover to clean surface. Light sand surface with 320-grit sandpaper or Red Scotch Brite pad. Wipe surface down again with grease and wax remover. Mask-off surround areas to protect from overspray. Use at temperatures between 60°F (16°C) and 95°F (35°C) and when humidity is less than 60%.
SHAKE: Shake can vigorously for one full minute after mixing ball moves freely and 10 seconds after each minute of use.
APPLY: If bare metal is exposed. Apply VHT Prime Coat Primer or equivalent first. To spray, hold can parallel and 8-10 inches from the surface to be painted and use in an even, sweeping motion. Apply 2 light coats, followed by one medium wet coat. Apply all coats within 1 hour, allowing 10 minutes between each coat. For additional coats after 1 hour, wait 7 days for paint to cure. Dries to the touch in 20 minutes and can be handled in 3 hours.

The EZ Touch Nozzle requires 50% less finger fatigue than a standard nozzle and allows for greater coverage and less overspray.
After each use, invert can and spray until clear gas comes out.
If spray button becomes clogged, wear eye protection and wipe off orifice with lacquer thinner. DO NOT stick pins or wire into the can opening. Discard empty can in trash pick-up.
